This is my favourite holiday and one of my favourite times of year! I love the Fall and all the changing colours and of course the cozy things that come along with this season. The one thing that I am missing so much this year is the fall fairs. It's one of the highlights of my year attending some of the local fairs and I am really sad they aren't running. Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on what you are most grateful for, and for me it will always remain the same. Family and friends. The people in our life are truly our greatest blessing, and I try hard not to take them for granted. If 2020 has taught me anything, it's to carve out time for these people. The people that always show up for us, the people that go out of their way to help us and the people that cheer us on always. You know the kind, salt of the earth people. Life gets busy and we often feel like we are running from one event to the next. This past summer we spent more time with family and friends than we ever have. I will say that is the thing I am feeling most grateful for in this moment. The gift of extra time.
I know the quarantine and this very unpredictable time in history, has not be easy for a lot of people. It wasn't easy for us either, but I am choosing to see the positive.
I hope you all have a very Happy Thanksgiving and I hope you choose joy this holiday. Enjoy it with your loved ones!
